Mixtape Monday: The Numbing Effect

Dreams - I will always hold them close to me, it’s as close as I can get to you.

"Live in the now, stop dreaming about yesterday," so I’ve been told. You see, I cannot and I do not plan on fixing that. There are things that are too precious to throw away and I don’t expect everyone to understand; there’s nothing broken about caching memories. Speaking of dreams and reality… I’ve always preferred the alternate reality anyway.

So I've made a song list of what it feels like to have a splinter in my heart for a very, very long time; Not enough to hurt me anymore, but enough to always remind me how it got there.
